BIO:

My desire as a photographer is deeply rooted in visual storytelling and documentary photography. That passion is what I strive to bring to every job, as a photographer, videographer, and photojournalist.

Currently, I am pursuing independent photo and video projects in Kentucky as I strive to better myself as a multimedia creator. I have been focusing on Appalachian stories, music videos, portraiture and alternative process photography.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Convergent Media and double-minor in Photography and Philosophy from Morehead State University in 2020.

My education and experience include completing the week-long Mountain Workshop, hosted by Western Kentucky University, in photo editing and photojournalism, as well as spending a year as a reporter with The Kentucky Standard in Bardstown, Ky. During my time there I focused on education, local news, and feature stories.

My work has been featured in the Lexington Herald-Leader, The Daily Independent, The Richmond Register and other community newspapers in Kentucky.

Often on assignment alone, I have worked for multiple outlets simultaneously, which required a variety of skills including AP style writing and reporting, photography, videography, and audio production, in addition to the post-production editing of them all.
